09/17/2024,  The trial court continues its transition to a new system with no solid ETA for restoration. The old system has case information available up to 04/08/2024.

InformData is offering to process Berrien County search requests either through IChat or with the known PAT limitations. If your organization approves InformData to move forward with your Berrien County orders, please email us today at support@informdata.com

08/09/2024, While the trial court continues its transition to a new system, Berrien County public access remains unavailable. The court is unable to provide a solid ETA for restoration. In the interim, the court clerks are fulfilling search requests using Michigan IChat (Michigan State Police), with the understanding that Berrien case filings and events from 4/8/2024 to the present are not available. IChat incurs a processing fee of $10 per name.
InformData is offering to fulfill Berrien County search requests directly through IChat, with an expected turnaround time of 16 hours.  If your organization approves the case filing limitation and the $10 court fee and would like InformData to proceed with your Berrien County orders, please email us at support@informdata.com today!

07/23/2024,  access to the public terminal continues to remain unavailable with no estimated time for its restoration.   If a case has been opened and/or had activity from 04/08/2024 to current date, it will not show up in the data the court provides from their old system.  InformData is offering to fulfill orders for Berrien County searches despite these limitations. While the Trial Court transitions to a new system, the Assistant Supervisor informed us we may fill out a request form to complete searches, however, there is a gap in data. 05/2/2024, access to the public terminal remains unavailable. The initial estimated time of availability was 05/01, with the possibility of an extension. We are collaborating with the clerks to establish a definitive date for when it will be accessible.

04/15/ 2024, per the Trial Court record requests, will be held until after May 1, 2024, to ensure the accuracy of converted case data. That date may be extended if necessary to ensure accurate results.

Berrien County Trial Court is undergoing a transition period as they switch to a new computer system. During this time, access and the ability to conduct record checks will be suspended for 2-3 weeks. Civil searches can still be conducted.

11/12/2024, research continues to proceed through conventional methods. There has been no update or estimated timeline from the court regarding the restoration of remote access.

06/27/2024, there has not been any news or an ETA from the court regarding when remote access will be restored.

Due to Michigan's new Clean Slate Law that went into effect on 04/11/2023, several courts across the state have removed public access to their criminal indexes or significantly reduced the available years to search. Please expect extensive delays while we work with the courts to gain access back to complete case histories and understand their timeline for updates to their criminal indexes. This is a very fluid situation, and we will continue to provide additional updates as they are made available.

10/28/2024, Only one public access terminal is currently functioning in State Court, while the second terminal is out of service with no estimated date for repair. The Superior Court index is up to date as of 10/17/2024. Please anticipate ongoing delays.

09/17/2024, State Court index is now current to present date. Superior Court index is current up to 09/05/2024.

05/17/2024, access to the Bibb public access terminals (PAT’s) has been restored, including access to documents and imaging. Please be advised that, while Bibb administrators have made Public Access available, some Superior (Felony) and State (Misdemeanor) Court filings from 05/13/24 to 05/17/24 may be missing from the Public Indexes while restoration continues. We have confirmation that the Superior and State Court indexes are current through Friday, 05/10/24.
 
Effective Monday, May 20th, 2024, InformData will return normal case results received in Bibb County Georgia. (Please be aware that we are currently experiencing some delays due to limited PAT access in State Court, which may have an impact on Turn Around Time.) If your organization does not want us to process Bibb County searches until full restoration is completed, please let us know as soon as possible and we will hold your orders.

Superior and State Court indexes are offline out of an abundance of caution due to a potential cyber-attack. The court is actively adding additional security measures and is investigating the potential breach.  While the court confirmed that they are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible there is no ETA at this time. Please expect delays.

08/27/2024, while Cobb County has declared a judicial emergency due to a software issue, research capabilities remain unaffected at this time. However, please anticipate potential delays.

08/01/2024, Superior and State Courts access has been restored. However, Superior Court access is slow. Please anticipate continued delays.

The Superior and State Courts are experiencing an internet outage, resulting in the public access terminal being down. There is currently no estimated time or timeline for when access will be restored. Please anticipate delays.

Please note at this time that all orders in Ottawa, MI are currently requiring clerk assistance due to limited information available on the primary index. Clerks are only allowing 5 names per day to be submitted for review. Due to this limitation, please expect an extended turnaround time of up to 4 weeks for any Ottawa, MI search requests.

09/26/2024, All three jurisdictions have migrated their District court systems to MiCourts, which now has an active 7-year scope limitation filter. 
 What this means for you:
•    Orders requesting a search scope of 10 years or more will be placed on hold unless your organization has previously approved scope limitations for Michigan due to the Clean Slate Law.
•    If your organization has already approved the scope limitation: For any orders with scopes beyond 7 years, we will process and return results as an “F/M 7” search.
•    If you do not want your orders processed: Please let your Account Manager or support@informdata.com know as soon as possible.
•    If you would like the full requested scope completed, clerk assistance is required. This typically takes 1-2 weeks and incurs a cost of $2 per page for Record of Actions (ROA) on cases older than 7 years. The final cost will be confirmed after the search is complete, as the number of cases cannot be predicted beforehand. To proceed, contact your Account Manager or support@informdata.com 
 The 7-year limitation is expected to remain in place until the Circuit Court is also migrated to MiCourts. Unfortunately, the clerks haven't provided a specific timeframe for this. We'll keep you updated as we learn more.

Public access to the terminals for the District and Circuit Courts in Antrim, Grand Traverse, and Leelanau counties is currently unavailable. The court has not provided an estimated time for restoration. Consequently, we are unable to process searches at this time, and delays should be expected.

The Lucas, OH Common Pleas Court is currently modifying its public access terminals, resulting in integration errors on our end. Our automation systems are being actively adjusted to align with these changes. Please anticipate delays as we temporarily conduct searches using traditional methods.

Sacramento, CA – Researchers are now being limited to pulling 5 case files per day. Please expect TAT increases due to the limitations at the court.

11/06/24 - The Public Access Terminals at the court are up and running, but are extremely slow for both researchers and clerks. Please continue to anticipate extended delays due to the system issues. 

On 11/1/24, San Joaquin County Superior Court was impacted by a ‘cybersecurity incident’. Currently the online index for San Joaquin is down and inaccessible. The onsite public access terminals are also experiencing an outage. Court Clerks cannot provide an ETA on when the system will be restored and functioning normally. Please expect extended delays on all San Joaquin orders while the in-court system and online index outage persists.

11/19/24, JIS has been confirmed to be up and running. Please continue to expect delays on WA orders as our team works to complete all pending orders oldest to newest.

Grainger, TN – As of 11/27, the Public Access Terminal is down and inaccessible with no ETA on when the system will be restored. Please expect delays on all orders while the issues persist.

Please expect delays on Clayton, GA orders due to limited PAT availability at the Superior court and required clerk assistance for additional case information. Our researchers are working diligently with court clerks to complete orders and minimize turn around time to the extent possible.
