12/2/25 - We’ve observed some improvement in the performance of the Public Access Terminal (PAT) systems in Los Angeles, with slightly faster access times than previously reported. However, delays are still occurring—particularly with specific system functions, ongoing CAPTCHA issues, and intermittent periods of downtime throughout the day. The court’s IT team is actively working to identify and resolve the root causes, and we will continue to monitor the situation closely.
9/23/25 - Court systems in Los Angeles are currently experiencing latency issues due to a malware attack that occurred late Thursday afternoon, 9/18/25. The systems are accessible, functional, and up to date, however, please expect delays on criminal and civil orders due to the system performance issues resulting from the attack. Court clerks have confirmed they are actively working toward a resolution but cannot provide an ETA on full recovery at this time. |

The court has also confirmed that all court copies will now have DOBs and PII redacted.
