The online primary index for Middletown Municipal court is currently down due to a cyberattack. At this time, there is no ETA on when the index will be restored. Please expect delays on all Butler County orders while the outage persists. If you would like your Butler County orders completed without a search of the Middletown Municipal court, please contact support@informdata.com. 

9/25/25 - Automation in MI has been restored however please continue to expect delays as orders are being processed at a slower rate due to the security updates made to the online index. Our teams are working diligently to increase the rate at which the orders are processing. 

9/4/25 - The online primary index has made changes requiring updates to our automation. Please expect delays on MI orders while our team works to complete all necessary updates. 

12/2/25 - We’ve observed some improvement in the performance of the Public Access Terminal (PAT) systems in Los Angeles, with slightly faster access times than previously reported. However, delays are still occurring—particularly with specific system functions, ongoing CAPTCHA issues, and intermittent periods of downtime throughout the day. The court’s IT team is actively working to identify and resolve the root causes, and we will continue to monitor the situation closely.

9/23/25 - Court systems in Los Angeles are currently experiencing latency issues due to a malware attack that occurred late Thursday afternoon, 9/18/25. The systems are accessible, functional, and up to date, however, please expect delays on criminal and civil orders due to the system performance issues resulting from the attack. Court clerks have confirmed they are actively working toward a resolution but cannot provide an ETA on full recovery at this time.

The District and County clerks in Floyd are currently migrating to a new system for their primary index. At this time, the primary online index will no longer be updated with new case information. Our team is working diligently to transition to a conventional in-court research process while the system migration is taking place. Please expect delays on all Floyd County orders during the migration period. 

The primary online index for the North Las Vegas Municipal court is currently down for maintenance. Please expect delays on all Clark County orders requiring a search of the North Las Vegas Municipal court while the maintenance window persists. 

As of Friday, October 24, 2025, the Lassen County Clerk’s Office has ceased releasing or confirming dates of birth (DOB) and other personally identifiable information (PII) related to potential cases. The court has also confirmed that all court copies will now have DOBs and PII redacted. Our teams are actively working with the court and clerk’s office to fully understand the scope of this policy change, as well as to explore any alternative options for obtaining confirmation of DOB and/or other identifying information going forward. At this time, please anticipate delays on all Lassen County orders where potential returnable cases have been located.

The online primary index used for Upshur, Young, and Titus Counties have begun restricting access, impacting our automation capabilities as well as user login. Our team is working diligently to regain access to the online index as quickly as possible. Please expect delays on all orders in these three counties while the issues persist.

The Akron Municipal Court in Summit County is currently undergoing a platform migration, which includes the implementation of a new online index. At this time, no ETA has been provided for when the migration will be fully completed and the system up to date. Please expect delays on all Summit County orders while this transition remains in progress. 

A recent update to one of our primary data sources has impacted our automation capabilities across all Idaho jurisdictions. Our Automation team is actively working to address the issue. In the interim, all Idaho orders are being processed manually by our research team. Please expect delays until automation functionality is fully restored.

The online primary index used for all Kansas counties has recently migrated to a new portal, which is currently impacting our automation capabilities. Our Technology team is actively working to implement the necessary updates to restore automated processing. In the meantime, all Kansas orders are being processed manually. Please expect delays until full automation functionality has been reinstated. 

Ashland Municipal Court has transitioned to a new online court index, which is currently affecting our automation capabilities. Our team is actively testing the updated platform and working to update our automation processes accordingly. Please expect delays on all Ashland County orders while these updates are being implemented. 

12/18/25 - As part of our continued focus on providing timely updates and transparent communications, we want to keep you updated on the current delays and causes in Harris, TX. This follow-up outlines the latest developments and the actions now underway to help keep your work moving as well as provides communication language you can use with your own clients. 

As shared earlier, Harris County has implemented significant blocking of online login activity impacting automation agents for InformData and other providers. We recognize how frustrating this is and are continuing broader initiatives to drive fulfillment changes through technology and direct data access. 

In the interim, based on the sustained blocking activity, InformData is evaluating and activating additional fulfillment paths designed to keep searches progressing wherever possible. These include: 

• Exploring direct, onsite access at the courthouse to ensure continued throughput while online systems remain restricted. 

• Leveraging available public-domain access points where appropriate and allowed by the county. 

• Continuing to process urgent requests through conventional methods when access is available. 

• Engaging with county leadership to gather more clarity on the restrictions and advocate for restored access. 

• Testing additional capacity channels to expand movement of existing Harris County backlog. 

These steps give you access to fulfillment options that automated-only providers may not be able to leverage. 

Because online access remains blocked, you should continue to expect interim delays on Harris County searches, both those currently pending and any new volume submitted. As more organizations across the industry shift to onsite or manual courthouse research, turnaround times may fluctuate based on overall court capacity and researcher availability. 

We will provide another update once our evaluation of these expanded access methods is complete and we can confirm which paths will provide the most stable throughput.  We will provide another update before end of business tomorrow.  

In effort to support your own communications with your clients, we also wanted to provide additional details:    

• This is a county-driven access restriction, not an issue with any individual provider. 

• Harris County is actively blocking online access, which is slowing processing across all fulfillment paths. 

• Searches may require onsite or in-court work, which can carry longer turnaround times. 

• InformData is actively implementing supplemental methods to keep work moving wherever possible. 

• Additional updates will follow as sustainable processing methods are confirmed. 

We will continue to do everything possible to advance your orders and will notify you as soon as new access methods are validated and active. 

12/16/25 - The primary online index for Harris County has undergone a system update that is currently impacting both access and automation functionality. Our team is actively investigating the issue and working to restore full automation capabilities as quickly as possible. Please expect delays on all Harris County orders at this time. 

The Justice Courts in Neshoba and Newton counties are no longer confirming full dates of birth on case records. Our team is working closely with the courts to explore alternative methods for confirming additional identifiers on potential matches. Please expect delays on all Neshoba and Newton County orders with potential cases located within the Justice Courts. 

At this time, the primary index in Johnson County is only displaying name and year of birth for potential cases. Court clerks will not assist with confirming additional identifiers and have not provided an ETA for when full dates of birth or other identifying information will be available on the index. We are currently holding all Johnson County orders where potential cases are located and are actively working with the court to address this limitation.
