Since implementation started back in April of this year, several courts across the state have removed public access to their criminal indexes or significantly reduced the available years to search. This has resulted in restricted access to criminal indexes and considerable delays in retrieving crucial case information, causing uncertainty and frustration.

As you can see on the tracker, the Circuit and District Court processes vary considerably from county to county. Some courts are limited to 7 years, some 6 years, and some have no limitations as the expungements have been completed. As time passes, the situation in the courts continues to change.
