A Direct-Source Data Success Story in Arizona

Let’s talk about Arizona, a state that boasts popular vacation destinations like Phoenix, Tucson and Scottsdale, and of course, it’s where the Grand Canyon is located. In Arizona, a whopping 80% of the population resides in Maricopa, Pima and Pinal, which have been historically challenging areas for the background screening industry.

Many months have passed since InformData first embarked on its mission to make direct-source people-data equitably accessible to all in Arizona. By investing our Direct-Source Data® capabilities in the state, we have enhanced the accessibility and reliability of our comprehensive criminal background checks in Arizona, specifically in those three challenging counties (Maricopa, Pima, and Pinal). Now, CRAs like yours can benefit from faster turnaround times and high-quality results in these three jurisdictions. We are excited to share an update on our progress.

AZ TAT

Implementing Direct-Source Data in Arizona

After careful analysis and consideration, we pinpointed Maricopa, Pima, and Pinal as regions demanding our focused efforts due to the challenges encountered by our clients and the distinctive complexities posed by these counties. In 2022, we initiated a campaign to elevate our operations by implementing our Direct-Source Data methodology in these jurisdictions. This involved the establishment of our own dedicated research team in these areas and the meticulous fine-tuning of our processes. The results we’ve achieved have been impressive.

We immediately witnessed a significant improvement in the efficiency of our services. That improvement has been sustained without sacrificing the quality or accuracy our clients have come to expect from InformData. Since implementation, the average turnaround time for individuals with records in each of the three counties decreased by as much as 92%! That’s right – we’re making some major progress in Maricopa, Pinal, and Pima. See for yourself in the accompanying graph. This remarkable reduction in TAT demonstrates our dedication to delivering timely and accurate results to our valued customers.

Commitment to Exceptional Service

At InformData, we are committed to delivering exceptional service. Continuous improvement plays a big factor here, which involves assessing our performance on a continuous basis to ensure that we consistently meet and exceed customer expectations. We understand how important the success of our operations in Maricopa, Pima, and Pinal are to our clients. As such, we have been closely monitoring our service quality in these jurisdictions so we can identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions to enhance our processes further.

Speaking of enhancing processes, we have a concept called “Court Scouting” where our team members ‘scout’ courts in person across the country (and sometimes even across the globe). It involves evaluating our methods by experiencing the process with our own eyes, mapping it, responding to any to pain points, and making recommendations for improvement. The firsthand knowledge we gain from scouting is incredibly valuable.

Two of our team members recently embarked on a scouting mission in Arizona. They visited the Superior and Justice Courts to evaluate our current processes and identify any possible opportunities for improvement. By scouting these areas, we aim to further streamline our operations and deliver an even higher level of service to our customers.

InformData's expanded Direct-Source Data capabilities in Maricopa, Pima, and Pinal counties have yielded remarkable results. By dedicating more resources and leveraging advanced technology, we have significantly reduced turnaround time, making criminal background checks in Arizona more efficient and accessible. Our commitment to continuous improvement and proactive initiatives, such as Court Scouting, ensures that we remain at the forefront of the industry, providing exceptional service to our clients. As we move forward, we will continue to innovate and adapt to meet the evolving needs of our customers and the communities we serve.
